Teacher resources

The STEM Learning Lab has created many resources for teachers and STEM educators. Our lesson plans (linked below) teach students the foundations of engineering and help them build essential skills, such as communication, critical thinking, and teamwork. Additionally, we have posted videos on our YouTube channel that provide in-depth explanations of our curricula and learning objectives. Our hope is that teachers will be able to implement our lesson plans and hands-on activities in their own classrooms, allowing students to explore STEM through experiential learning.

Lesson plans

Below, we have attached the Google folder containing all the curricula created by STEM Learning Lab. You will find a document titled Lesson Plans + Supplies Lists, which has 12 lesson plans with instructions, supplies lists for each class, and answers to the STEM Passport. Additionally, the STEM Learning Lab strives to educate all students about the myriad of women who have contributed to engineering, so we have created a fun Women in STEM Passport for students to learn about and become inspired by various women in STEM. The passport pages are in a separate Google Slides Presentation titled SLL Women in STEM Passport, and the answers for each page are on the lesson plan guides. You will also notice that there is a separate folder called 'Printouts,' which contains all the documents necessary for each lesson plan. We have We hope you enjoy implementing these activities in your own classrooms!
